Project Overview: The bidirectional water blocking air shield dam at the mouth of the Jinchuan River in Nanjing is designed to prevent backflow. The operating conditions are as follows: the tail water of the Yangtze River is 2 meters low, and the flood season is close to no top. The dam is required to be erected and operated year-round after completion. Due to the deep tail water of the Yangtze River after completion of water storage, it is completely impossible to carry out secondary and tertiary water crossing fastening, maintenance, and repair. The requirements for anchoring structures are extremely high. After comparing the performance and solutions of various manufacturers, we chose our new anchoring structure, which has been running stably and reliably until now. The completion and long-term stability of this project have achieved the reputation of being the first air shield dam on the Yangtze River for thousands of miles.
